Beckett Simonon is a shoe company that utilises made-to-order manufacturing, meaning the production of your shoe starts when you place the order.  This allows them to offer you their products at a cheaper price for you and me! Its a win-win!

Quality - excellent quality leather upper and sole. The sole is a Blake stitch and upper is full grain Argentinian calfskin leather in the Bordeaux colourway.  The sole stitching seems to be high quality so that will be an area I will test over time.  The stitching on the boot is also great quality and the metal lace clips are durable brass.

Comfort & Fit - They fit great but are a little stiff at first, which is actually a sign of a durable boot.  I normally wear around a 7.5 to 8 in men’s dress shoes but because my feet are a tad wider than the norm they recommended I go with a size 8; great choice. I will likely do another video in the future to share my thoughts on how they feel and look after some time wearing and breaking them in.

Style - I personally find pretty much all of their products very stylish and fashionable.  They have classic designs which will never really go out of style.  That’s a good thing because these boots are made to last a very long time.  I like how versatile the boot is as well.  I mean I would rock these with denim or chinos casually or with a blazer and slacks at the office; they are that versatile.

Price - Very competitive with other boot brands such as Thursday Boots but cheaper than brands like Allen edmonds and To Boot New York.  The boots retail from between 220 and 350 US dollars.  Right now they have a great sale going on where you can get most boots for 220 as its pretty much summer and boots are not really ’in-season’ - the best time to buy them is now!

My recommendation is if you don’t mind waiting a few weeks to get these its worth the wait.  I started off with a dress shoe then upgraded to boots! If you missed my video on 4 ways to wear the black oxfords check it out here -
